The Beginning

The paintings that started it all!  In 2016, I was inspired by my husband’s great grandmother, Novoa Lamas’ beautiful rose painting. I picked up a paintbrush and started painting. I never took a painting class; I did not know much about tone, value, or even basic shading. Ever since I painted this, I have not put my paintbrush down. It’s never too late to try something new, you can be inspired by the most beautiful things!
